Oman's first comprehensive bus-transportation platform, connecting bus owners, captains, and passengers through two native apps and a public site. We built the mobile and web apps end to end.
Problem
Oman's bus-transport sector ran on phone calls, paper, and word of mouth. Bus owners had no real way to manage fleets, routes, and performance; captains coordinated manually; and passengers had no reliable way to find a bus, book a seat, or know when one was actually coming. Nothing connected the three sides on a shared, trustworthy layer.
Approach
We designed and built the platform end to end for the client — two native apps (iOS + Android) plus the public web presence. Sayyar Partners gives bus owners and captains a fleet-management solution: track vehicles, manage routes, monitor performance, and optimise operations. Sayyar Passenger gives riders a smart travel app: book tickets, track buses in real time, and get route information. Both apps are bilingual (Arabic + English) for the Omani market and ship on the App Store and Google Play.
Outcome
Sayyar is live in Oman with both apps published — Sayyar Partners for owners and captains, Sayyar Passenger for riders — on the App Store and Google Play. Owners, captains, and passengers now operate on one connected platform instead of phone calls and spreadsheets, with real-time bus tracking across the network.
